Tilly Metz (Greens/EFA) will remain an MEP for the next five years despite earlier polling consistently predicting a total wipeout for the Green Party in the European Parliament. Luxembourg’s EPP party CSV came out the lead party, holding onto two seats as it did in 2019. Luxembourg’s Liberal DP lost one seat, down from two seats in 2024. That seat has been transferred to Luxembourg’s ADR, which sits in the ECR group. The sixth seat will be filled by the Social Democratic party (LSAP/POSL), meaning Marc Angel will be returning as an MEP.
